Every request across all 8 applications follows the same data pipeline.
Each app uses its own database on a shared managed PostgreSQL server in a private network.
2. Information We Collect
2.1 Information You Provide
- Account information: Email address, username, password (encrypted)
- Profile data: Display name, profile picture (optional)
- Learning data: Course progress, quiz results, achievements, XP, streaks
- Quantum data: Circuit designs, experiments, simulation results
- Career data: Resume/portfolio information, job search history, skill certifications (QuantumCareer only)
- AI Tutor conversations: Chat history with Professor Quantum AI Tutor (QuantumNative only)
- Financial data: Risk model parameters, portfolio configurations, QRNG seed preferences (Q-Alpha only)
- Security assessment data: Organization type, algorithm selections, compliance parameters (Q-Shield Sentinel only)
- Logistics data: Route data, vehicle status, delivery metrics, GPS coordinates for route optimization (Q-Logos only)
- Research data: Compound parameters for simulation, toxicity scores, research session history (Q-Bio Genesis only, RUO)
2.2 Automatically Collected Information
- Device information: Device type, operating system version, unique device identifiers
- Usage analytics: App interactions, feature usage, session duration (anonymized)
- Performance data: Crash reports, error logs, app performance metrics
- Network information: IP address (for security purposes only)
- Cookies: This website (swiftquantum.tech) sets no cookies; your consent choice and language are kept in your browser's local storage. The product web apps set strictly necessary sign-in and language cookies and the sq_attr cookie below.
- Referral source (websites only): If you reach one of our websites through a link with campaign tags or from another site, a first-party cookie (sq_attr, 90 days) keeps the tag values, the referring domain, the landing page and the date, and our server records them once, without your email, account ID or IP address, when you sign up or start a checkout. It is not set if your browser sends Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track. See the Cookies Policy at legal.swiftquantum.tech/en/cookies/.
2.2.1 AI Service Providers & Data Processing
Where your device supports it, the AI tutor in our iOS apps runs on-device with Apple Foundation Models. Otherwise, we use the cloud AI providers described below.

What is sent to OpenAI:
- AI tutor in the iOS apps and the account service's AI tutoring, curriculum and Daily Pulse features, when the on-device model is not available: your question and recent conversation turns. Your name and email are not sent.
- SwiftQuantum IDE web, circuit generation: the circuit description you type (model gpt-4 by default).
- Q-Bridge quantum tools (qubit health, noise diagnosis, error budget, crosstalk): calibration and noise figures, the backend name, and the circuit type you choose.
- QuantumCareer cover letters: the role and company, the tone you pick, the first 1,500 characters of the job description, what you write about yourself for the letter (story, achievements, highlights, background), the first 1,500 characters of any résumé text you paste, your skills from your Talent Pool registration and skill certifications, and your name (or username).
- QuantumCareer résumé tools: for analysis and optimization, the résumé text you paste (up to 6,000 characters) and, for optimization, your target role; for job matching, your résumé and the job description (up to 3,000 characters each).
- QuantumCareer AI career curriculum: your interests and current skills.
- QuantumCareer career profile document: your QuantumCareer career profile, up to 3,000 characters — headline, summary, current and desired role, desired salary and locations, experience, education, certifications, skills, publications and languages, as you entered or edited them. If you connected LinkedIn, it also includes what we imported from LinkedIn: your name, LinkedIn member ID, profile photo URL and country.
Retention and training: Under OpenAI's API data policy, data is retained for up to 30 days for abuse monitoring and is not used for training by default.
Your Rights Regarding AI Processing
- Right to Know: Request what data we hold. Contact: support@swiftquantum.tech (30 days GDPR / 45 days CCPA)
- Right to Delete: Settings → Privacy → Delete Chat History, or email support@swiftquantum.tech
- Right to Object: Disable AI Tutor in Settings. Use offline learning mode instead.
- Right to Non-Discrimination (CCPA): Same price & service quality regardless of rights exercised.
Alternatives to AI Tutor
If you prefer NOT to use AI Tutor:
- Offline Learning Mode: Lessons you download are stored on your device.
- Non-AI Features: Circuit design, simulations, career tools - all without AI.
- Custom Setup: Contact support@swiftquantum.tech for enterprise solutions.
2.3 Information We Do NOT Collect
- Precise location data
- Contact lists or address books
- Health or biometric data
- Financial information (payments processed by Apple/Google)
- Government ID numbers
Usage Limits & Fair Use Monitoring
To enforce fair use limits, we collect and monitor:
- Daily API call counts per user (anonymized)
- Data transfer volume (aggregated only)
- Concurrent session counts
- Automated vs. manual request patterns
This data is never shared with third parties, deleted after 90 days, and used only to enforce terms.
Hardware Provider Data Processing
When you submit a quantum circuit via Q-Bridge:
- Your circuit code is transmitted to IBM®, IonQ®, or other provider
- Provider's privacy policy applies
- We are NOT responsible for provider's handling of data
Career & Employment Data (QuantumCareer)
QuantumCareer collects and uses:
- Resume/Portfolio: Stored locally, sent when you apply to jobs
- Job Search History: Which jobs you viewed/applied to
- Test Scores: Quantum skill test results
- Certificates: Which tiers you've earned
Importantly: We do NOT share this information with employers without your explicit action (clicking "apply" button).
Security Assessment Data (Q-Shield Sentinel)
Q-Shield Sentinel collects:
- Organization Profile: Industry type, organization size (for risk calibration only)
- Assessment Results: QRS scores, vulnerability analysis, compliance status
- PDF Reports: Generated assessment reports
Importantly: Q-Shield does NOT collect actual security infrastructure data, network configurations, or access credentials. All inputs are user-declared organizational parameters for simulation purposes only.
Logistics & Route Data (Q-Logos)
Q-Logos collects:
- Route Data: Delivery addresses, route history, optimization parameters
- Vehicle Data: Vehicle type, fuel/battery status, maintenance records for health prediction
- Location (Real-time): GPS coordinates for route optimization and ETA calculation
- Imported Order Data: Orders you share from delivery apps or upload as CSV, income records, delivery metrics
Location Data: Used for real-time route optimization and delivery ETA calculation. Not shared with unauthorized third parties. You can manage location permissions at any time in device settings.
BioTech & Research Data (Q-Bio Genesis)
Q-Bio Genesis collects:
- Compound Data: Q-Bio processes the compound names or chemical structures (SMILES) you enter. It does not collect patient or health data. Please don't enter confidential structures you are not permitted to share.
- Simulation Results: 5-axis toxicity scores, risk assessments, Bio-Stack analysis results
- Research Activity: Saved simulation sessions, simulation history timeline, NIST report history
- Sentinel Preferences: Research topic subscriptions, notification settings for Live-Bio Intelligence alerts
Important: Q-Bio Genesis is a Research Use Only (RUO) platform. All simulation results are for research purposes and do not constitute medical or pharmaceutical advice. No real patient data is collected or processed.

5. Data Security
- Encryption: All public connections use HTTPS (TLS 1.2 or later; TLS 1.3 preferred)
- Storage: Object storage (Amazon S3) is encrypted at rest with AES-256 (server-side). The main database (Amazon RDS for PostgreSQL, Seoul) runs in a private network, is not publicly accessible, and has automated backups kept for 7 days. The database storage, including its automated backups, is encrypted at rest with AES-256 using AWS Key Management Service (KMS).
- Post-quantum encryption: On the Q-Bio web app, compound inputs are sealed with ML-KEM-768 (NIST FIPS 203) and AES-256-GCM before they are sent. Our other services do not use post-quantum cryptography.
- Access Control: Strict role-based access to user data
- Monitoring: AWS WAF protects the website and APIs, and CloudWatch alarms monitor backend services
- Audits: Periodic security reviews

Deleting your account removes your sign-in (account) data immediately. Data held by individual apps is deleted within 30 days of your request; for some apps, our team completes this manually.

Depending on your location, you have the following rights:

8. Children's Privacy
Our services are not directed to children under 13 (or 16 in the EU). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we discover that a child has provided us with personal information, we will promptly delete it.
9. International Data Transfers
Your data may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your own. We ensure appropriate safeguards through:
- Korea–EU adequacy decision under GDPR Article 45, adopted by the European Commission on 17 December 2021 and currently in effect (reviewed every four years, the first review period shortened to three years): transfers from the EEA to commercial operators in Korea may proceed without additional transfer tools
- Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) or the provider's equivalent data processing terms for transfers to OpenAI, Anthropic, Apple, Stripe and AWS services outside Korea; recipients, countries, data items, purposes and retention periods are listed at legal.swiftquantum.tech/en/subprocessors/
- Data processing agreements with all service providers
Data Storage Location: Your data is stored on AWS in Seoul, South Korea (ap-northeast-2). Transfers of EU/UK personal data are protected by Standard Contractual Clauses. AI data is processed in the United States by Anthropic PBC (web AI tutor) and OpenAI (AI tutor in the iOS apps and QuantumCareer cover letters) under Standard Contractual Clauses (SCC) protections.
